Meet The CFI Team
Ever since I was a little kid, I have always been drawn to aviation. It started ever since my parents bought a RC airplane when I was 8. Growing up everytime I saw an airplane fly overhead I always wondered how cool it would be to pilot one of those things. Now, after fully dedicating myself to training in December 2022, I can say I am fulfilling my dream.
While making it to the airlines is one of my career goals, I have true passion and love for mentoring others and can see myself still as a flight instructor when I make it to the airlines.

Ramón Hontanon - CFII
Ramón works in Information Technology Management as his "day job", but his true passion lies in helping his flight students arrive at their "aha! moments” when those steep turns finally click! Ramon is humbled by the trust that his students place in him, to shepherd them through their aviation dream, and is committed to helping them become safe, proficient, and conscientious pilots. He loves instructing at New Garden Flying Field, a true aviation "field of dreams”.
When not flying airplanes, Ramón enjoys playing ice hockey with the morning crew at ShinnyUSA, and mountain biking singletrack up in northern Chester County.

Being an airline pilot has been a long-time dream of mine, having started from the first time I boarded a flight to Disney World with my family at the age of 7. Fortunately, my loved ones always encouraged me to chase my dreams, so I began my private pilot journey here at New Garden Flight School when I was 18 years old. Although my passion for aviation never dwindled, circumstances dictated that the pursuit of my dreams had to be put on hold for a short while. Eventually, I was able to continue chasing my dream, and completed my training having earned certifications for Commercial Single and Multi-engine Land, CFI, CFII, and MEI. I have since rejoined the New Garden Flight School community with a love for what I do, excited to share my knowledge and passion for flying with others!

Kyle Ford - CFII
At an early age I remember growing up round the KMVI airport in South Jersey which instilled my love of planes and aviation. My earliest memories are after the air show being able to go into the cockpit of the military planes and talking to the pilots about flying. I am currently serving as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard, and have been serving for the last 7 years along with one tour in the Middle East. In 2023 I was coming home from a 9 month deployment and decided it was the best time to start my aviation career. I have since then received my commercial single-engine and multi-engine license, CFI, and CFI-I. New garden has been a great place to instruct as the environment is nonstop having fun and learning. I cannot wait to see more faces come in and join our passion for flying.
Kylie Ennis - CFII
Growing up, my neighbors were both airline captains. They inspired me to travel and see the world for myself. I started flight school in 2021 while attending college. The fall after graduating early I left my job to pursue flight school full time.
Since then I have earned my Commercial Single and Multi-engine land license, CFI, CFI-I, MEI, AGI, and IGI. I love New Garden and everyone who works here, it is truly a fantastic environment to work and learn in. I look forward to sharing my passion and excitement for aviation with the next generation of aviators!
